I am an Artist

I am an artist.

When I was just a wee image of a person in God's mind He determined that this female would be an artist.  He delighted in this fact and thus He blew life into the womb of my mother.  That life is Me.

The Artist is a creator.  A person who takes a mere image, a mere idea, a mere melody, a mere inspiration and brings it to life as something real, tangible, that completely connects with the emotion of fellow mankind and Mother Earth.   This is a beautiful notion.  There is a little bit of Artist in all of us.

However, sometimes the world doesn't value true Art.  You see, the work of an Artist is subject to high opinion.  And it's most times based upon the bottom line.  The bottom line based upon other Artist's works.

But each Artist is so very unique and God speaks through the Artist to touch the hearts of others.  Therefore I pray that the world becomes more sensitive to this fact because as more Artist's follow their hearts and be true to their craft and blessings and not follow what the other Artist's are doing based upon the dollar, then the world will come to realize a greater truth.   To be quite candid, I had no idea that life as an Artist would be so challenging!  It's a very hard life but we're crazy to live according to our hearts and passion to create because we want to share the Art.  But we were made this way. God's Way.

God moves so powerfully through the Artist.  Perhaps that's why the world sometimes rejects "God" even though they say they love and accept Him/Her.  On their limited terms, perhaps.  The way they want to only.   And if He isn't the WAY that they want Him to be, why He is not accepted any other way but their way.  The grace is the ability to keep the Artist's heart and enthusiasm and dreams alive and real and true, because the blessing just may occur that the Artist can touch the hearts and souls of many through their ART and thus inspire and uplift the lives of mankind.  As a Way of Truth.  Because the soul of creativity becomes acceptable.

Art is very precious.  We as Artists are Ambassadors of Truth and God's Creative Movement as an Expression of LOVE and Inspiration to follow one's heart to better the world.  I pray that the world will continue to appreciate Art and Artists not by mere dollar value, but by the value of the heart that ultimately leads to prosperity all around anyway.

Art stretches every aspect of body, mind and soul.  It is confirmation of Faith in the unknown and unseen, as it thus becomes manifest as both in one's life.  Art crushes boundaries.  Boundaries formulated by the limited mind.  Art is the testimony of Creative Visualization.  Visualize and thus with action becomes reality.

Artists must pray to be embraced by the world  We pray to live everyday because we live through out Art and when we must engage in hours of so called "regular" work to pay the bills, it sometimes hurts us.  Why?  Because it diverts our deep passionate attention and hard work at art to something that is sometimes so foreign to us.  Most times our minds simply don't operate like that of folks who live less creatively.  It's like someone who doesn't like to dance, has two left feet, forced to dance to a rhythm which makes the physical body feel chaotic.  We feel out of place and a bit chaotic engaging in a "regular" style job.  And it's not like we don't want to work; we will work for hours, without sleep, engaged in the work of our passion.   Art looks easy, because the enormous hours and tremendous effort that an Artist dedicates to their craft(s) will hopefully deliver an awesome experience that is easily accessible for the heart to embrace.

However, we forge on and engage in "regular" work as we must in order to keep a roof over our head, praying daily that someday our Art and all the enormous effort we put into it to share as a gift and our breath to the world, will be our means of livelihood to sustain our existence in every way.   Being an Artist is the ultimate risk.  We will risk everything to live as full-time Artists and attain the someday existence of that heaven of full engagement with our passion.  Those Artists whether they be musicians, actors, poets, writers who have achieved this amazing opportunity to live their art, experience a bliss and a heavenly contentment that is a pure blessing.  Most got their by risking everything, sacrificing it all, experiencing the depths of emotional expression and trudging through enormous life upheavals -- climbing up our mountain of truth to achieve such a life of grace as a full-time artist.

I am an Artist and will forever be this.   I risk all because I care to be true and to share the gift of art with all of mankind and Mother Nature.  I breathe and live by the music note, by the written word, by conceptual art.  I breathe and live by the art of the motorcycle.  I breathe as God has given me breath when He created me born of His own image of perfection for all mankind.  This is the ultimate Artistry.  We are all living works of ART and thus possess a Divine Creative Power within us to work miracles of LOVE in this world.

I am an Artist.  Respect and accept me, please, with love.  Respect and accept all artists.  Peace.
